Basic Medical Centre was established by Basics Aids Organization to improve access to quality healthcare for vulnerable individuals and families who cannot afford medical treatment.

Our decision to establish the clinic came after witnessing many people suffer from preventable illnesses simply because they lacked the financial means to visit a health facility or purchase essential medicines. We believed that access to healthcare is a basic human right, not a privilege.

What began as a community health initiative has grown into a trusted medical centre providing compassionate care to people from Charles City, Massajja, and surrounding communities.

Why We Started

During our community work, we met many families who delayed or avoided seeking medical care because they could not afford treatment. Children, mothers, older people, and vulnerable households were among those most affected.

Basics Aids Organization responded by establishing Basic Medical Centre to ensure that vulnerable people could receive healthcare with dignity and compassion, regardless of their financial situation.

Our mission is simple:

No one should be denied medical care because they are poor.
