Our Success Stories

Community Sage Deliverance Power Church Project

Building Hope, Faith, and Community

Basics Aids Organization believes that lasting community development includes education, healthcare, food security, livelihoods, and places where people can gather in peace, hope, and unity.

One of our major community development projects was the construction and donation of the Community Sage Deliverance Power Church in Charles City, Massajja.

The land for this project was generously donated by the Local Chairperson, Mr. Charles, whose contribution inspired the name Charles City. Basics Aids Organization then undertook the responsibility of financing and constructing the church. Every stage of the construction was funded through contributions from the organization’s members, and all labour and services required for the project were paid for by the organization.

The completed church stands as a lasting investment in the community and reflects the commitment of Basics Aids Organization to serving people with dignity and compassion.

Our First Project in Charles City

Before the church was built, the community faced a basic sanitation challenge because there was no public toilet.

Recognizing this urgent need, Basics Aids Organization made sanitation its first priority by constructing a public toilet for the community. This project improved hygiene, promoted public health, and provided a safer environment for local residents.

To ensure that the facility remains clean and functional, Basics Aids Organization employed Madam Florence as the caretaker. She continues to maintain the facility and receives her salary from the organization.

This project demonstrated our belief that improving community health often begins with meeting essential everyday needs.

From Vision to Reality

The church project was completed in phases as resources became available through the continued support and financial contributions of Basics Aids Organization members.

The journey included:

  • Community consultation and planning.
  • Donation of land by the Local Chairperson, Mr. Charles.
  • Construction of the community toilet as the first project.
  • Launch of the church construction project.
  • Construction of the church building.
  • Completion and dedication of the church.
  • Continued service to the community through worship and outreach.

Each stage reflects the determination of Basics Aids Organization to invest in projects that create long-term benefits for vulnerable communities.

Community Impact

Today, the Community Sage Deliverance Power Church serves as much more than a place of worship.

The church provides:

  • A permanent place for worship.
  • Community meetings.
  • Youth and children’s activities.
  • Counseling and family support.
  • Prayer and spiritual encouragement.
  • Community outreach programs.
  • Daily food assistance for vulnerable people within the community, including Christians, Muslims, and other residents in need.

This reflects the organization’s commitment to serving people without discrimination and responding to humanitarian needs with compassion.

Building on this experience, Basics Aids Organization continues to invest in education, healthcare, agriculture, food security, women’s empowerment, sanitation, and community development.

As community needs continue to grow, we welcome partnerships with individuals, churches, foundations, businesses, and development organizations who share our vision of creating healthier, stronger, and more self-reliant communities.
